Service Description

Her name is Urmana Chaudhry. She completed her legal studies in 2017 from University of London. She’s an enthusiastic and dedicated human rights lawyer and an activist. She has worked with Asma Jehangir in her legal aid cell and is currently working at University College Lahore as an academic coordinator, tutor for International protection of human rights and as a clinical professor in the legal clinic. Legal clinic is set up with collaboration of Arizona State University which aims to work and research for victims who have been deprived of their basic rights and to train young law students. Urmana along with two faculty members from University College Lahore were invited to the United Nations to represent Pakistan and to accompany students for an exposure visit to Bangkok. She is currently doing her BAR from Lincoln’s Inn and is a trained mediator from ADR ODR International. She believes that mediation is more powerful than litigation as the future is of mediation. She believes in keeping the client’s information confidential for gaining their trust in order to help them come to a mutually agreed conclusion in a friendly manner.
