Ms. Iqra Mushtaq is a certified Mediator and licensed Advocate, currently working in the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan in Corporate Registry and Licensing Division. She did her Graduation (LLB honors) from International Islamic University in Shariah and Law, which has equipped her with a sound understanding of Islamic law as well. From a young age, she has believed mitigation through dialogue and mediation to be a better alternative to external litigation. In her professional life, she believes ADR to be an efficient solution to dispute resolution, especially in corporate and family matters. Ms. Mushtaq has also worked with Asia Foundation as part of their mediation chapter in Pakistan. She has also co-authored a research paper on “Mediation in Family Dispute”.
