Amna Iqbal holds a degree of Law from Pakistan College of Law. She is Advocate of High Courts in Pakistan. Apart from this she is also certified Civil Commercial Mediator with ADR ODR International (UK). Amna Iqbal specializes in Corporate, Civil and Intellectual Property laws. She is currently working as Legal Counsel at a leading Pharmaceutical Company with the main responsibilities of legal drafting, negotiation and vetting of complex business contracts, legal opinions. Dealing with regulatory and compliance matters, consumer and recovery cases. Her major area of work is intellectual property matters which includes search, filling, opposition, acceptance and registration of trademarks and copyrights. Amna tries her best to settle the inter-departmental, commercial and employee related disputes through amicable dialogue out of the court. She is also Member of Inquiry Committee for disciplinary and harassment at workplace cases. Prior to this Amna has also served as Faculty Member at a private law college. Besides professional work she often writes on social and legal issues. Conduct trainings on laws for the purpose of awareness among people. Amna is activist for the protection of legal rights provides pro-bono services for family disputes and human rights violations.
