Usman Chaudhry

Chaudhary Muhammad Usman holds LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary, University of London.

He has been involved in various international commercial arbitration proceedings conducted pursuant to the rules of London Court of International Arbitration with seat in London, United Kingdom. He has also handled domestic arbitration proceedings. He has appeared before the courts in Pakistan in matters related to the enforcement of domestic and foreign arbitral awards.

He has also advised clients in matters related to corporate and commercial laws, foreign exchange laws, labor laws, property and rent laws.

He has for a number of years combined his legal practice with teaching the subject of contract law to the external students of University of London. Currently, he delivers lectures to the post graduate students enrolled with University of London empowering them with valuable insights and practical knowledge of International Commercial Arbitration.

He has also conducted training sessions for creating awareness regarding anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy of the client. Moreover, he has been a contributor to the Doing Business Report (a co-publication of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation).

Usman specializes in arbitration, contract law, civil litigation, regulatory matters, employment law, property law and company law.
