Service Description

Seemin Ahmed is a Senior Coordinator at University College Lahore’s (UCL) Law School. She currently instructs UCL’s Law School students enrolled with the University of London’s Company Law course and Royal Holloway’s BBA Programme in Human Resource Management, and has previously instructed students in Royal Holloway’s Strategic Management programme. Prior to her engagement with UCL, she has worked in a managerial role at KPMG’s Taxation Department, where she was entrusted with the responsibilities of managing international clientele vis-à-vis their taxation and corporate law requirements. She also gained hands on experience in working with various direct and indirect tax matters relating to both resident and non-resident clients, exposure in processing payroll and individual tax returns and due diligence with respect to tax exposure. She has worked on the implications of VAT in GCC states, and has provided tax advisory services to major international clients. Before working at KPMG, Seemin Ahmed gained extensive experience in International Business (B2B) at Wateen Telecom Limited, an Abu Dhabi Group venture, where she was employed in a managerial role, which included liaising with telecom companies across the globe, identifying synergies to ensure long term beneficial business relationships with carriers & operators, and liaising with the legal department on contracts and due diligence issues. Seemin Ahmed completed her LLB and LLM degrees from the University of London. Her LLM was in the fields of Company law, Jurisprudence, Theoretical Criminology and Juvenile Justice. In addition, she has a Master’s in Business Administration from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. She is licensed to practice law in the High Courts of Pakistan, and is an accredited Civil-Commercial Mediator with ADR-ODR International.
