Sareena Khan is dual qualified Barrister and Solicitor from England and Wales. She is an International accredited Civil-Commercial Mediator and is placed on the panel of ADR-ODR International as a mediator. Further, Miss Khan is also a practicing High-Court Advocate of Pakistan. She is currently devising new legal standards for the leading Microfinance Bank of Pakistan while strategizing innovative techniques to pre-empt litigation and effectively regulate the legal concerns of microfinance banking industry.

She brings in diverse international experience of having worked on high-profile sensitive projects like Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline Project (TAPI), Arbitration on behalf of Civil Aviation Authority, Pakistan and having volunteered at the Royal Courts of Justice and Central Family Courts, London, United Kingdom. Miss Khan has been actively advising the provincial government on the Legal and Regulatory Framework for Public-Private Partnerships in Khyber Pakhtunkwa. Accordingly she has advised on the amendments to the policy framework and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Private Partnership Act (as amended up to 2017). She specializes in Corporate law, Banking law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation.

Being an avid scholar, Miss Khan also represents the University of London and the University of Law, United Kingdom, as their ambassador for Pakistan. She writes for ‘The Nation’ on sensitive and culturally controversial topics encouraging practical / philosophical and academic dialogue while looking at issues with an eye to bring about positive ripples in the society.
